Giving Tuesday 2019

Maybe you've heard of Giving Tuesday? It was started seven years ago to encourage giving back in the days following Thanksgiving. Here's how GivingTuesday.org describes it: "We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give."

Hamilton and Giving Tuesday. This year, Hamilton Action Team, Hamilton's fundraising organization, is asking that you consider the Hamilton's Theater Program on Giving Tuesday. All proceeds from our Giving Tuesday campaign will go towards supporting Hamilton's theater residencies. Artist go into classrooms for 6-8 week and integrate theater with our literacy curriculum. We can't imagine a better cause as we give thanks for and work to support the outstanding education Hamilton students receive.
