We are very excited to give Hamilton students and families the opportunity to create a student pledge drive page to collect and track their walkathon pledges online. 

This is a fun and easy way to unleash the power of your people to support Hamilton. And it’ll help us blow away our $20,000 pledge drive goal!


How it works

You set up a student pledge drive page under the name of a Hamilton student. From this student pledge drive page, sponsors donate online using their credit card, and the pledges are automatically credited on each student’s personal page. No need to submit cash or checks, and your sponsors will receive an automatic donation thank you and confirmation for tax purposes. These student pledge drive pages can be shared easily with family and friends by email or through Facebook and other social media. Cool!

The first classroom with 10 student pledge drive pages will win a session of iPad fun during the school day!


**Please note: Students only get credit for online pledges through their student pledge drive pages.

BEFORE YOU CREATE YOUR STUDENT PLEDGE DRIVE PAGE, PLEASE READ THIS VERY IMPORTANT INFO: 

1. Before you create your page, you will be required to create a Join Me account. WHEN CREATING THIS ACCOUNT, USE THE STUDENT’S NAME, NOT THE PARENT’S NAME. Put the STUDENT’S first and last name in the name fields. Put the STUDENT’S name in the field “Name to display on Fundraising Pages.” This will ensure that students get credit for the donations made to their pledge pages; WE CANNOT LINK PARENT NAMES TO STUDENTS.

2. Only one student pledge drive page can be attached to each Join Me account. Therefore, if you have more than one Hamilton student, you need to set up a separate Join Me account for each student. You can, however, use the same email for multiple accounts.

Hamilton Elementary, located at 1650 W. Cornelia Ave. in Chicago, is a Chicago Public School serving students in pre-k through 8th grade.
